Background reading for a security buyer, a procurement officer or an engineer. Start with what zero trust means, without the marketing. The glossary gives the terms this site uses and how Pramaan does each. The timeline gives the dates the DPDP Rules and CERT-In set, from their sources.

The product documentation covers installation and configuration. The security pages set out what Pramaan claims and what it does not. Buying through a tender? Procurement sets out the supplier status and how it is asserted.

Questions

Where is the product documentation?

At docs.pramaanid.cloud. Its configuration reference documents 156 settings, and it is generated from the broker's configuration source rather than written by hand.

Why do these pages quote no breach statistics?

A statistic is only as good as its source and its date, and figures go stale. These pages explain the ideas instead, and give the statutes by date.

Is any of this legal advice?

No. The timeline states dates and obligations from the instruments themselves; how they apply to your organisation is for your own advisers.

Where do the dates on the timeline come from?

From the Gazette notification of the DPDP Rules, Gazette of India Extraordinary No. 760, G.S.R. 846(E), and from CERT-In Directions No. 20(3)/2022.
